TATTENHALL VISIT

Tuesday 5th March 2013

We woke up bright and early this morning - 6.30am for some of us!  After breakfast, Tom Theatre joined us at the Tattenhall Centre to conduct our day of drama.  He taught us some fanastic drama games, which helped us to warm up our bodies and our voices.  Tom taught us how to become a character and then stay in character.  We learnt how to turn our bodies into a ship, how to become a stormy sea and how to project our voices so that they can be heard by an audience.  We have certainly learnt a lot of drama skills today, which will help us with our production in May at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.  Today has been a lovely sunny day and so we have enjoyed time playing on the adventure playground again.  We have eaten very well, in fact we have probably all put weight on over the past few days!  We had a hearty breakfast, a huge lunch and we have just polished off spaghetti bolognese or sausage and mash followed by crumble and custard or fruit.  I think we will all sleep well tonight!  We will have lots of news to share with you tomorrow.
